3 Core CEs for Counselors

You can learn the nuts and bolts of running a practice all in one place.

You've probably spent hours upon hours researching a million different websites, reading blogs, watching videos, and listening to podcasts trying to figure out what you actually need to do to start your practice.

On top of all of your research, you are probably still working another job and feeling impatient that you can't just get going. Your time is precious and you just want to know the the required steps to get started. Every time you check something off your todo list, something else pops up and makes it hard to actually get your practice going.

You keep seeing quick fixes to get you to six figures in your practice but all you want to know is how to just begin. You feel like you don't even know the questions you should be asking and you don't want to mess up and end up doing something wrong.

Private Practice 101 for Georgia Therapists

is here to help.

What we go over:

1

Section 1: Introduction

We'll talk about the realities of being in private practice and the type of personality you might need to succeed or areas where you might need to ask for help.

2

Section 2: First Steps

We'll go over how to choose a name, how to file for an LLC or PLLC, how to get a business license, and apply for an EIN and NPI. These are all the steps you need to actually have a business and we will walk you through, step-by-step, what to do. You will feel confident that you have your business bases covered.

3

Section 3: Managing Your Practice

We'll go over all the little things that go into running a practice. From choosing the best practice management software, email systems, and phone, to what paperwork and insurance you need. You'll also learn some about advertising and how to create boundaries so you don't burn out.

4

Section 4: Money

We will talk all about money: from setting up a business bank account (and why you need one!) to setting fees and getting paid. We will also go over quarterly taxes and how you can pay yourself.

No More Wasting Time Figuring Out How To Start Your Practice

It's easy to spend $1000s on business coaches when you realize your questions aren't getting answered after one session. This workshop will save you time and money with easy-to-follow steps, real-life examples, and answers to all of the questions you didn't even know you needed to ask.

A note from Anne

I hope Private Practice 101 is just what you need to get your private practice going. The business side of therapy isn't always easy, but with the right support and guidance, you can have a successful practice that supports the lifestyle you want. As a mom, I can truly say that starting my own practice has been one of the best things for my family. Although businesses have ups and downs, the flexibility of having my own business is worth it. I love helping people design lives that work for them and hope this course will start that journey for you!
